The Strathisla Log Cabin was an absolute dream for a budget traveler like me. The cozy and rustic feel of the cabin made me feel right at home. The private hot tub and sauna were the icing on the cake! I couldn't resist indulging in some relaxation after a long day of exploring. The Northumberland region provided breathtaking views, especially from the garden. It was like stepping into a fairytale. The two bedrooms offered ample space and comfort for me and my travel companion. We slept like babies every night. Having a kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave was a game-changer. We were able to save money by cooking our own meals.

Honestly, I can't find anything negative about Strathisla Log Cabin. This place exceeded my expectations in every way.

While everything about our stay was fantastic, it's worth noting that a car is necessary to fully explore the surrounding area. The nearest supermarket was a bit of a drive, about 14 minutes away, so be sure to plan ahead for groceries and provisions.

The wellness area at the chalet was amazing, I practically had to be dragged out of the sauna and hot tub! And the private parking was so convenient, I didn't have to worry about finding a spot for my fancy car.

Oh, what a nuisance, I had to make a whole 17 km trip to see Etal Castle. How awful!

The sauna and hot tub were the perfect way to pamper myself. The garden and free parking were a nice touch. Etal Castle being 17 km away was such a convenient location for a day trip. Towels were available, thank goodness, I was starting to worry about that.

Oh, I absolutely hated having a garden and free parking. Such a hassle.

The Strathisla-Luxury Two Bedroom Log Cabin with Private Hot Tub & Sauna was absolutely amazing! The room was cozy and had a lovely terrace and patio where we enjoyed our morning coffee with stunning garden views. The hot tub was the cherry on top, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shower in the chalet. It could have been better, but that's just my opinion.

I always go back to my favorite cabin where I lost a jewel and the staff helped me find it. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, parking, a kitchen, flat-screen TV, VIP service, outdoor dining. Can't wait for New Year!
